Rose's story
When Rose moved to the UK from Uganda, she needed to gain work experience. Determined to move into a career in care, Rose reached out for support and found the guidance to take the next step into paid work.
Joshua is a young man with Autism. Eager to move into work after completing a 12-month NHS-supported internship, he sought help from Opportunity Sheffield’s Local Supported Employment (LSE) team to find an apprenticeship.
As a single mother who was new to the UK, Luul overcame both cultural and language barriers to build a new life in Sheffield. Following employment support and ESOL classes, she is now thriving in work and winning recognition for her achievements.
