About Pathways to Work
A simpler system
Our partnerships include:
- regional government
- the NHS
- the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector
- learning providers
- the wider private sector
Together we are working to simplify the system to make it easier to access support.
Everyone who wants to gain employment and build a career in Sheffield should have the chance to do so, regardless of personal circumstances or any potential barriers.
Every employer should have access to impartial hiring, training and funding support to take advantage of growth opportunities.
Get involved
Pathways to Work is about investing in people, building our workforce and growing Sheffield’s economy so everyone can benefit.
We welcome referrals and self-referrals for employment support and are eager to hear from local employers who are interested in recruitment or training support.
Opportunity Sheffield can assess your needs and interests, and ensure the right support is put in place.
Our funding
Pathways to Work is a South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority initiative, part-funded by the Department for Work and Pensions’ Economic Inactivity Trailblazer and the NHS England Health and Growth Accelerator.
Opportunity Sheffield is the Pathways to Work System Service Manager for Sheffield, responsible for overseeing delivery within the city and coordinating local partner activity.
