Opportunity Sheffield commissions seven new employability projects
Opportunity Sheffield has commissioned seven new employment support projects across the city in the second wave of Pathways to Work commissioning.
The following projects commence delivery on Monday 2 June 2025 and will run to Tuesday 31 March 2026.
Endeavour
Project for economically inactive and unemployed individuals interested in practical, outdoor and alternative (non-office/retail) roles.
A Mind Apart
For out-of-work 16 to 25 year olds who are looking for opportunities to break into the creative sector.
Olympia Fitness
Street 2 Success employment support project for NEET young people aged 16 to 25, using a bootcamp and peer mentorship model.
Together for Sheffield
Ascend project, supporting young people to connect with employers in Sheffield.
The Progress Group
Bridges, a five-step, person-centred employability programme delivered through in-person engagement. It supports economically inactive NEET young people aged 16 to 25 across Sheffield.
Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme
For NEET young people aged 16 to 24 in Sheffield.
Offploy
Employment support service for out-of-work residents, with a particular focus on jobseekers who have been through the criminal justice system.
Making a referral
Economically inactive and unemployed residents who are aged 16+, live in Sheffield and have the right to live and work in the UK are eligible for out-of-work support.
