Opportunity Sheffield’s triage team directs individuals to bespoke support

A new triage service for work, skills and health provision in Sheffield has gone live.

Opportunity Sheffield’s Pathways to Work team provides an impartial referrals function on behalf of the city’s employment and skills system, to ensure potential recipients of employment support are signposted to the most appropriate service.

Sheffield has a range of welfare-to-work provision within the Pathways to Work system, including the Economic Inactivity Trailblazer and UK Shared Prosperity Fund projects, WorkWell and Working Win. These will become part of the incoming Connect to Work programme from September 2025. 

The Opportunity Sheffield triage team will be accepting referrals and self-referrals in respect of anyone who is seeking a job or looking to progress into better or more secure employment.
